The course aims are to explore genres of Fashion Photography. (fine art. Studio, location, advertising, commercial) while learning how to respond to a brief creating ideas/concepts through the design process (research, plan, experiment, evaluate, present. Learners will work from a wide range of photographic practice involving technique and processes, chemical and digital based to gain core knowledge of the subject. Leaners will learn how to respond to their creativity through analytical research that will underpin and aid the development and understanding of the photographic design processes in the form of a visual ideas logbook.
The use of computers and photo-shop software are used as a creative application within the new media design process as well as working with traditional media (film and wet-room printing) to learn both aspects of photographic practice.
Learners will be encouraged to express and explore their inner creativity to build a personal and creative portfolio that presents their practical work.
